Summary

This is one of my best projects to date, and much of the credit goes to the remarkable Marie-Louise Koen. The design brief was exceptionally detailed, with every element—from the table lamp to the side table, bench, bed, carpet, and even the plants—meticulously planned. This required modeling everything from scratch, as there were no ready-made 3D assets that could match the precise vision for the space. Usually, we can rely on platforms like 3dsky for close approximations, but this project demanded a bespoke approach. Each piece was carefully designed to reflect the luxurious and serene essence of Villa Lion View in Constantia. Nestled against the stunning backdrop of Table Mountain, this guesthouse blends modern comfort with African elegance, and it was my goal to translate that into the render. The final results were truly outstanding, bringing the design vision to life while showcasing the power of detailed 3D visualization. This project pushed my creative and technical abilities, and I’m incredibly proud of the outcome. It’s projects like these that remind me why I love what I do—turning imaginative concepts into reality.
